Track #2 is up for your listening pleasure. This song is about a time when I had just started dating a certain girl. She was out of state visiting a friend, and when some "bad stuff" happened, I called expecting her to eagerly volunteer to rush back to my side. She was being perfectly sensible, but it was kind of a kick in the gut to hear that we were not yet in that place yet where I should expect that of her. This song is what I heard between the lines while talking to her that day. "Wonder If She Knows" is a totally selfish, Wah! song, but I like it because I think I captured my feelings at the time, childish as they may have been.
P.S. It all turned out fine in the long run. We celebrate or 11th wedding anniversary this Wednesday!
